The DCRC was formed to provide an avenue for motorcycle riding couples to join up for group rides. Couples of any age and motorcycle riding experience are welcome. The emphasis is on relaxed tempo, safe, fun riding to areas in the Washington, DC surrounding countryside, especially the river and bay areas of Maryland. A group for local military riders who are either new to the area, new to hitting the road on two wheels, or just enjoy weekend adventures with fellow heroes. With such a high turnover rate in the area for the military, this is a group where you can meetup with fellow riders, soldiers, airmen, marines, and sailors. All experience levels and ages are welcome. The purpose of this group is to get young Harley-Davidson riders from the Washington Metropolitan area together for group rides and events. Young Harley riders in the area seem few and far between compared to the amount of young riders on sportbikes.
